“Dengue Cases Surge by 45% in North India; Delhi, Lucknow Worst Hit” Hospitals across Delhi, Lucknow, and Chandigarh are witnessing a sharp rise in dengue cases this monsoon. As per the Ministry of Health, there has been a 45% increase compared to last year. Overflowing drains, stagnant water, and poor sanitation are the main causes. Doctors urge citizens to avoid water accumulation, wear full sleeves, and use mosquito repellents. Special fogging drives and health camps are being run by municipal corporations.
