Delhi NCR Launches Clean Air Mission 2.0
In a bid to tackle rising air pollution, the Delhi Government has launched Clean Air Mission 2.0, which includes real-time AQI alerts, smog towers, EV incentives, and construction dust control systems. The initiative will begin from October 2025, ahead of the winter smog season. Over 200 air quality sensors are being installed across NCR to provide hyper-local alerts. Delhiites can download the “Saaf Hawa” app to get personalized health warnings, school alerts, and traffic-safe timings. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said, “Pollution kills silently. This mission aims to bring down PM 2.5 levels by 35% in two years.”
